When did you start showing?

I am newly pregnant....4 weeks 2 days and it still seems a little surreal...I guess for me without the 'baby bump' it still seems a little weird to be expecting even though I've wanted this for so long.....I don't have a doctors appointment until June 22nd and maybe then I will feel more like I am officially pregnant......
Anyway just curious as to when everyone started showing?

For me, around 5 months, but it just looks like I have a gut.

First off congrats on your pregnancy!
I'm a really small girl (5'2 normally 95-100pds) so for me I usually start getting a little belly around 3-4mos. I know what you mean too about not really believing your actually preggy until you feel hear or see the baby. I felt the same way with all 3 of mine, especially the first. Once you feel those first little flutters i'm sure things will start to really set in that your actually growing a baby.

With ds1 I didn't show until 5-6 months. I'm 5'9" and was around 135lbs with him. With ds2, I noticed I had a bump around 12 weeks! I could throw on an XL hoodie and my bump would dissapear with ds1, with ds2 I was a large as a house

First congratulations!!!'

This is my first pregnancy too, I am 3 months in, and I have DEFINITELY noticed a change in my body. Most of my clothing still fits (but not the way it used to). My belly is getting to the point where it's clear (at least to me and my DH) that something is growing other than bloat.

I think showing really depends on body type, weight gain, and to some degree which number of pregnancy you're on. I have only gained about 5 lbs (maybe even a bit less) but my body is rearranging itself. I tend to be larger in the chest and butt/thighs with a smaller waist. When the littlest part of your body begins to swell and disappear it might mean showing earlier. I know other women who tend to have slender limbs and carry more of their weight in their middles and stomach area and it was harder to notice their pregnancy changes early on.

my dh and i noticed i was showing (for ds1) around 4-5 months, closer to 5 i think. but there were some people who had no idea i was pregnant until i went onto maternity leave back when i worked!

this time around, i immediately got swollen in my belly at 6 weeks, although it wasnt an actual "bump." and i started showing a month or so earlier than my first ds
