Mama pads for PP?

Not sure if this is the right place, so if it's not, can someone just move it?

It's been almost 5 years since DS was born, so I'm having trouble remembering how much PP bleeding there was to know if I am prepared for it. I already use mama cloth and have a decent sized stash, but I'm not sure if what I have is good enough for PP. I have 4 goodnight sized pads from Many Moons (these are huge!) and I have about 15 regular daytime maxi type pads from different sources. Does that sound good enough or should I get some more overnight pads? Or what about just using prefolds when the bleeding is heavier? Ideas?

If what you have is fine for your normal usage I wouldn't want to spend the money on any more. If you are going to be washing often enough it may work just fine. Otherwise you could stick cloth diapers in there while you get them washed. I hadn't found mama cloth before my last baby so not sure how many is really needed.

You might get a better response posting in the birth forums or fertility.

Yep I agree. I found that the bleeding tapered off to the point that my "heavy flow" mama cloth kept up with it very well after the second day. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to spend all that money for two days of wear.

Oh good! I really didn't want to spend more money, especially since what I have is all fairly new. I only used it for about 6 months before getting pregnant. I just had these horrible visions with me bleeding all over the place and nothing big enough to contain it!

Thanks for the help.

I used just a prefold a few times, it worked great.
