SSI Question - getting started

I applied for SSI for DS 2.5 who has Autism. I got a letter from SSI yesterday saying they were sending him to a local Dr for an eval and tests. The letter stated this that could take 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I know this office, went there when DD was born, and there is no way I'm taking any of my children there ever again. They push vaxs (signs everywhere saying they will catch your child up if they come in even if they are sick), not bf supportive (was told my BM was not enough for DD, formula has everything babies need). The list goes on. I called SSI and they were quite helpful. They haven't gotten all the paper work they need, which is part of the reason for the Dr. The lady didn't know, but I'm wondering what kind of tests are needed? Anyone know?

tests vary based on diagnosis, but my ped filled the paperwork out for us. Ask if you can go to a different ped, or ask if your doc can fill out the paperwork.

That's what I thought, so I asked if we could go to our ped. The lady said no, that we'd have to see one of their specific ones. I'm going to get more paperwork together and send it in and go from there.
