Meconium and BF poo question

I am planning on cloth diapering from day one. Do you think fleece liners are useful in the beginning for meconium and BF poo? I've heard that until solids, the diapers with meconium and BF poo can just be thrown directly in the wash, is this true?

Thanks!

True about throwing in the wash. I don't think you need fleece liners for BF poop - it washes and suns out perfectly (you might want it for the stay-dry effect though).

Some people find the meconium stains more. I didn't.

I had less problem w/mec than bf poo, but the bf poo washes out, just leaves some discoloration and the sun takes care of that (if I'm feeling ambitious enough to bother)

I did use fleece liners for the meconium, just cut up fleece pieces and then threw them out. BF poo just goes straight in the diaper pail.
