stained tea cups

My tea cups get stained everytime I use them with green tea and/or black tea. Its hard to scrub them clean. Is there anything I can use/do to make it easier? If I use vinegar and scrub, that does work but must I scrub so hard to remove the stains?
Also, how do I remove yellowish stains from clothes washer? I've tried bleach and also baking soda but they didn't work. TIA

DH drinks a LOT of tea, I scrub his mugs with baking soda on a wet dishcloth. It's my universal scrubber. Works very well and doesn't take very long, I just wash it after with regular dishsoap to clean off the baking soda residue.

Not sure about the washer, sorry.

I have some very porous ones and even baking soda didn't work. I ended up, in desperation, grabbing one of those "magic erasers" to see what would happen. Worked perfectly and immediately with no effort.

You could use the same thing I've heard to get coffee stains out of a pot. Some ice, salt, and a squeeze of a lemon. Swirl it around in the cup. You can let it sit for a bit and then swish again.

I use a rough scrubby thing. It works fine

thanks all for your helpful answers. I will try all the solutions till I find the easiest. That magic eraser thing sounds intriguing. I happen to have some and I will try that.
