Fertile mucus questions.

Ok, so I have noticed what seemed to be fertile mucus a few times while I am waiting on my first PPAF but nothing comes of it so I kind of have just thought maybe I was wrong. But I went to my OB a few days ago for a pesky YI that just wasn't going away with home remedy and while she was preforming the exam she asked if I wanted more children because I had fertile mucus on my vaginal walls. This of course excited me to no end and thus the sudden interest in TTCing again. I just thought it wasn't even an option up until that day. So I have been using OPK's several times a day and praying to God above to send me that egg I thought my body was gearing up for.

But unfortunantly all the OPK's have been - to the 10th power.

So I have bouts of crampiness and EWCM and have been off and on for the past 2 or so months. Could this be just related to BFing and have nothing at all to do with my fertility? Does anyone know about this or have any experience with it?

You can certainly get fertile CM and not o yet, it is triggered not by o but by things that usually happen just before o, mostly your estrogen surge.
So this could be your body just starting to cycle again even though it could not happen this time.
I think what your OB was getting at is that if you are not wanting another child right now, it would be time to start using birth control of some sort, because you are at risk now.
