Camping with Blender batter?

We're camping this weekend and I'd like to do pancakes for breakfast. I'm wondering if I can mix up the whole blender batter (eggs and all) and put it in a container to take and cook while camping...
Should work, right?

If you have a cooler, it should be fine. Otherwise, I'd get eggs that have never been chilled from a farmer if you can (because then they can be kept at room temp), keep them whole, and mix them in with a fork or whisk when you plan to cook it.

The second stage of blender batter is about more than just the eggs - the dry ingredients are to be put in at the end with just enough mixing to mix it in to the batter so that it will help the batter fluff up and rise. If you mix it in early it won't do anything. Why not mix up the batter, bring the eggs in a cooler and put all the dry ingredients in a little baggie. Then just mix them in by hand right before you cook. You shouldn't necessarily need the blender for that part.

Good luck - we camping!

You mean the soaked blender kind? The dry are actually whole grains blended in to the batter then let sit......

I don't see why you couldn't. Though you would want to leave out the baking soda. Just dissolve it in a little water then add to the batter before frying at the camp site. Otherwise I don't see whynot. I make muffin batter ahead of time
