HPT - faint positive line..this ever happen to anyone?

I am shaking with excitement, nervousness and confusion...I decided to take an HPT this AM b/c I thought that there was a possibility we conceived at the end of May and no P which would have been due this week. But since i just had my RTF in May, (still BF a 13 mo old), I wasn't sure if my cycle was really back to "normal". So anyways...the second blue line came up faintly blue, ie, faintly positive...my husband doesn't believe it's accurate, but I am thinking...you can't be a "little bit" pg, so maybe it's just early. The same thing happened when i was pg with DS1, but then it was definitely early and when i tested a week later it was dark blue.

This happen to anyone else? Should I try one of those digital tests? Thanks!

Yes go get a digital, make sure it wasn't a evap

yes, I have gotten a very faint +hpt that got darker later. Test again!

It could be! Blue dye tests are notorious for false positives though : http://www.mothering.com/discussions....php?t=1206310

But i just read the "blue dye" sticky, and now am wondering if it was a false positive! arg. need a different test.

there is a sticky at the top of the ttc forum page (under resource/popular threads) about blue dye tests. i hope it is a pos, but check that out and then you may want to get a digital or pink dye test. answer early's have been performing really well lately according to some of the ladies here who have gotten early bfps. the gold digi frer seems to do well too. good luck!

I'm pregnant! And you're all the first to know LOL, other than DH...DH just brought back a digital clearblue and it came up "Pregnant". Now that the confusion is gone, the excitement and nervousness are taking over!!! Still good to know about the blue dye tests, i can share with friends and not waste our $ on them anymore. Thanks all for your advice!!

Woman! I was like 3.5 weeks preggo when I happened to have an OB appointment and requested a PT. Same thing happened. VERY FAINT, but there. I ran home and took one of mine, It really didnt even show up.

Hes almost 3 BTW.
