I'm so psyched. I was just about to buy the A to B add on kit.

I saw that this morning too! So excited, I need to buy the A-to-B kit this month, great timing.

I have been waiting on this as well, I am sooo excited, now I just have to decide which kit to go with now!

Can you do Right Start if you haven't started with it? Like, my 3rd grader would be level C, can I start there if we've used MUS so far?

And if I get level B for my Kindergartener, can I just get the B to C add on kit for my older kid?

Yep, RS has transition lessons or something to ease people that have used other programs into the RightStart methods.

If you get the B kit, then you only need the B-to-C and you're covered. I photocopy the worksheet pages so I can use with future children.

Thanks!

I had to check, and yep, the transition lessons seem to be separate. I didn't notice them on the coop, but wasn't specifically looking out for them either...

discount up to 20% now

Thanks for the heads up! I don't have time to browse right now but I will

I got that note this morning and was all excited, then read that this one is US-only. Drat.

We used level E for DS (after doing the transitions -- so yes to the above poster, you most certainly can start 'later' in RS), currently using Geometry with him now and level A with DD. I thought this would be a good opportunity to pick up the rest of the series for her (we already have all the manipulatives heh)... Oh well!!!

Awesome. I've been looking at picking up the card games, but they are $50 retail and I really didn't want to kick that out in addition to everything else I've already bought this year.

They are almost to the max discount now.
yep, almost up to the 25% discount and there is still 11 days to go!!!
Oh, I could've guaranteed that this would reach the 25% discount, people are so excited about it!

Hopefully that means that it will become a more regular thing then, although I am new to the coop business so have no idea how it usually works.

Unfortunately, I think this RightStart Math discount won't be a regular thing, but it would be nice to see it once a year. I think there is just too much demand for the program, they don't need to discount it all the time.

I ended up buying it full price, the $25 I would've saved wasn't enough for me to wait a month to get the program.

I want to buy them but funds are low. Now I am going to try to sell some stuff to afford it!

Well, once a yr would be good enough I have not planned a definite start date for anything so waiting a month is no biggie. I am slowly integrating some new programs and scheduling into our schooling, we will be doing yr round schooling but I don't want to all of a sudden add lots of new things.

I am thinking I want A and B as I think he will quickly be going through A- trying to figure out the cheapest way to do that. It seems to me that buying A Kit + A->B Add On will be the best way to go about that.

What are others buying?

Thank you!!! I'm so excited. I have been wanting to purchase the A kit and an extra abacus for a while, but the cost was a bit too much. I just ordered them It's going to be hard waiting...I'm so excited to get started. I tried the first 3 lessons (the free ones) with my kids last week, and they loved it. they keep asking for math now.
