Father's Day gift idea?

I know that this is a bit late in the game as Father's Day is Sunday... but does anyone have an awesome idea for a gift that they don't mind sharing?

I *did* think about it and come up with a couple of idea, both of which require DP to make the final choice, so I didn't really need to do anything beyond purchase a card. DP is a tattoo artist and drew up a tattoo about the baby that he'd like to get, so I thought maybe I'd offer to pay for his tattoo. He has friends that tattoo and could get it for free, but it would be nice to have a "big name" tattoo person do it and/or not owe someone a favor, KWIM?

Then I talked to my 11-y-o. She suggested that we get him saddle bags for his motorcycle. He'd LOVE this, so it was a great idea.

I'd rather not spend so much money though- either of these gifts would be a few hundred dollars. I've looked at his Amazon wishlist and nothing seems appropriate for a first father's day gift.

So what did you do for Father's Day?

i used iron-on letters to make a matching t-sirt/onesie set that said "pint" and "half pint".

Also got matching amber necklaces for them since dp has migraines.

good luck!

I got DH tickets to a women's professional soccer league (the DC Freedom). Exciting family outing!!!!

That's the stuff DH has always responded to the most enthusiastically b/c we love doing "stuff" and he can't wait to share soccer with his new DS.

I think ya'll's gifts sound super

We do the fun family outings for Father's day. We've gone to botanical gardens for a picnic, a baseball game, a museum..this year we are going as a family to see the play "Peter Pan"

In addition we choose a children's book about Dads for the "card" (Which I still need to do...like now)
