No, it didn't. My computer crashed for on thing and I lost the info that I sent everyone. But then there were some other things. Last year, I had decided that I was going to re-new my efforts because of my decline in them over the years. So, at the very end of 2004, I got a bit bummed for not doing it. So, I decided that with this not working out, I was going to do it on-line on a website. Funny that you pulled this up now AngelBee. Here's my website: http://www.geocities.com/a_natural_family/
The treading lightly button basically takes you to an outline of the UN's Global Action Plan on the Environment Eco-team program. The steps for each of the five areas of garbage, energy, water, fossil fuels, and consumption are under steps. Our path is my family's progress report. Needless to say, I feel like a failure in what my greatest strength once was -- garbage.
So, if you all would like to do this with me instead of me going through this alone with whoever happens to look at my site out in cyberspace (probably thinking that I'm a complete weirdo), I would be very happy. I had thought before that we would just start up a new thread on each topic and put the link to the topic thread here so that we would all be able to find the new topic. In the eco-team program, a new topic is started up every two weeks. I had thought we would do it that way. That the person(s) in charge of a topic would write up the action steps, then write up something on their personal experience with it. And that we would jump in, saying our experiences, what we need to improve, and we would all be there for giving suggestions to each other.
Give me feedback if you think this should be done, if there are people interested in leading a topic still, etc.

Hi, I would be interested in learning if not participating in the program as well. I think it's a great idea.

Maybe you could just start one thread out and see how it goes, yk?

An idea that appeals to me would be small topics with in the bigger areas. It seems like, as busy people, it's easier to discuss little things on a weekly basis. This could also be seasonal.

If we were to do small things I'm sure I could contribute a topic or two. I don't have an academic background but I think I could find enough information on the Internet or draw from personal experience ~ so long as others are following along with dialogue and a little fact checking if something seemed off in my research.

I started a general Eco Team thread to subscribe to at: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...14#post2623914

Everyone, please subscribe to it to go through the program with me. The more people we have working together on each issue, the more ideas we'll have to lessen our load in the areas where we have difficuties.
