Blades in bedroom bad Feng Shui?

Does anyone know? Are blades of any kind supposed to be banned from the bedroom? I thought I heard this somewhere, whether it's a knife or sword, for decoration or for use, but I can't find anything on it now. I don't know if this is the right place to ask the question.

I have never read or heard such a thing in my study of classical Chinese Feng Shui. Mirrors in the bedroom are a no-no, though.

Sometimes metal is required for a cure and blades would work fine for that purpose unless it is moving metal that is required, like a clock with a metal pendulum or mechanical chime.

ETA: Any kind of blade or knife, scissors, pins, needles are not suitable items to give as gifts, as the symbolism is so strong and could "sever" the relationship, but that has nothing to do with Chinese Feng Shui.
