SAHM first time around, but not this time...anyone else?

With my first child I stayed home and when I did start working again, I didn't have or want childcare (work from home). I worked nights/naps. Now, that is not logistically possible with two. I will be working PT from home and have great childcare set up with a grandmother-type nanny (another post) who will come to the house. I want to work, am happy with the plan/schedule set up, but have these pangs of sadness/guilt that I will not have the same time with DS as I did with DD. Anyone else in the same boat? I feel like so many people I know did the opposite -- went back to work after #1, but then stayed home after the next baby.

Sounds like a very good situation to me...I don't have the same situation (I wish I did), but I went back to work much sooner after #2 than with #1 and I felt guilty about it. There was nothing I could do to change it, though, and it was fine. My husband just got much more involved much earlier and both kids are fine and happy now. (#1 is 2 and a couple of months and #2 is almost 10 months.)
