But hopefully it's got some options so that it will be able to be challenging now and not crazy hard once I start getting really big.
Yay- I hope it comes soon! Definitely tell us how it goes!!

So today I walked for 30 minutes at lunchtime and I am at a point where I am counting that! Tomorrow I will be dancing the night away and sweatin' up a storm at our friend's wedding reception so I should be good to go with my 3 workouts.

Push through and do something tomorrow- whether it is walking, a dvd, elliptical, even one or two strength exercises- you will be so glad you did I promise!!

Sorry I've been MIA! We're on vacation (arrived yesterday) so as you can imagine, it's been a crazy week! BUT, today is my 'rest' day of the week and I have officially worked out 5 days this week doing P90X! I really feel AWESOME! I'm noticing some great changes in my body (excess weight I had on my hips and cellulite on the backs of my legs diminishing). My confidence is THROUGH THE ROOF! I even bought a bikini to wear while we're at the beach! I haven't worn a bikini since high school. And my videos aren't nearly as hard for me. I'm back to being 'addicted' to working out - I even worked out at 11:30pm last night because I just had to get it in before bed. Overall, I'm very pleased with myself!

Keep up the great work, ladies! I need to break out my bike and ride with DH and/or DS when we get back home! I love to ride but haven't yet this summer.

I am spent today! I spent the entire day cleaning for an open house this weekend and then DH got home and I trimmed all the palm trees (that I could reach). Though I didn't officially workout, I had a calorie blasting day and my shoulders are burning!

Wow, that's impressive. I don't know how you find the time to do 5 workouts a week. I keep plugging along, but I really don't feel like I'm seeing any results. Although I'm only back into it a week and half now and I am working out 3 times/week instead of 5. I usually wear a bikini. But when I'm pregnant, I seem to grow some cellulite on my thighs and tush. It happened last time and it happened almost the second I found I was pregnant this time. But I bought a bikini with a little skirty on it for my last pregnancy so I'll be in that this summer.

I just wanted to quikly update that I got to throw in a workout yesterday after work! I did my usual 30 min on eliptical and about 30 mins of arm/leg weights/strenthening. So I made it to my 3!

Oh, and I discoved that if I contcentrate more on bouncing and the upswing on the eliptical then I can keep my pace up easier and my feet go numb quite as soon.

Hope everyone else is having good workouts!

Yesterday I did 30 min on the "air walker" and then a 15 quick walk on the treadmill. Today, DH and I are going on an hour long walk as soon as it cools down to 90 degrees... Ok, that's the closest smiley thingy I could get to "it is too dang hot out here to do anything except breathe; I'm insane to go on a power walk"

Tomorrow I am taking the day off, but Sunday, I hope to do something.

With two kids, I don't find much time to do anything for me. But, DS really likes to do P90x with me, so he's either pushing me to do it during his sister's naptime or I do it before bed. I work 4nights/week and DH works the other 3, so I either need to do something when I get home because I'm still in 'work' mode from being on my feet, or I'm bored after I get the kids to bed, so I work out to kill an hour while I wait on DH to get home. I'm still procrastinating my workout for tonight!

As for the bikini, I did get a skirt bottom. I still have some cellulite but I'm feeling really good and not too worried about that!

I'll get off my tush here in a min and get to my Chest & Arms DVD and check back in when I'm done. OH! And I'm finally able to eat salad again! I've had a salad 3x in the last 2 days! So, that's making me feel great too!

(due date crash)

You're doing P90X during pregnancy? How's that going? Do you have to adjust what you do at all? Were you doing it pre-pg? I was working out a lot and getting in decent shape when I found out I was pg this time. I didn't do a lot between months 2.5-4 and have been working out again and need something more than the prenatal videos. I'm starting at the gym next week and they have an elliptical. But I was thinking about P90X post-baby, and would love to start in even a little bit now. I have some major cellulite and chunk to battle which is weird since I hardly eat still since the morning sickness!

It's going great! It's an AWESOME workout. I didn't do it pre-preg. I'd tried it a time or two but was lazy and didn't keep it up. I decided to get serious so I didn't pack on the pounds like I had other pregnancies. I'd already lost a good deal of weight when I found out I was preggo but wasn't working out and didn't want to waste all my efforts. I do have to adjust some things. For instance, I can't do jumping jacks or the Plyometrics video or I'll pee my pants! : During the videos when they do jjacks, I just run in place and I skip the Plyo and Abs videos all together. I use resistance bands rather than free weights (only because we don't have weights) and it's enough to definitely see a difference and make me sore! Oh, and I can't do pull ups - too much strain on my round ligaments. So, I stick with the resistance bands for this as well. If I feel I'm getting too hot/heart rate too high, I pause it, grab some water and pick it back up in a minute.

I TOTALLY recommend it!

-you are not alone! I was feeling the same way (and for the same reasons- instant cellulite in same places). I just reminded myself the amount of exercise AND my eating was different...and oh yeah, one little other thing that may or may not matter- WE'RE PREGGO!!! So try to be easy on yourself- you are taking steps to be as healthy as you can right now for you and baby- that's what matters. And you will look SUPER cute in that bikini

Well, DH and I ended up walking for 85 minutes, and it was HOT!!!! But the park is so beautiful, and 131 acres and new! I can't wait to go walk there with Squirt once he/she is able to go in the jogging stoller. I just realized that we live within 1.5 mile radius of 3 really, really awesome playgrounds. How cool is that???

Today, no workout. Went to the beach with some friends, and then we went for a late lunch and decided to eat outside, and I got a little too overheated. Happy to be back in my a/c house! Tomorrow...I don't know. I think I"ll swim, but it depends on what time my friend wants to get together.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I took my littles to Phoenix, so I missed working out on Friday and Saturday. I made up for it today with a 40 min weight/cardio interval workout. I hope everyone else gets in a great workout today!

I swam 1600 yards; just a bit less than my normal 1800 because I had to go meet friends for lunch. But it felt GREAT. I love swimming!!!

Tomorrow, I think I"ll swim again, because I want to go to yoga after I ellipticize on Tuesday.

Week 2!

Hey ladies! I got another great walk in on Sunday- how are you all doing??

I'm still hoping that we can all check in at least 3 times this week with great news about your workouts! I will aim to get my first workout in for the week before I go to bed tomorrow.

EMILY AND JESSICA: Great job for getting those workouts in this weekend and already on Monday and today- woohoo!!!
