Science Experiment Book

We went to Borders Books to choose a birthday gift. I narrowed the selection and my 4.5 year old son chose http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/158...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I think he liked the book because each experiment starts with a question:
what makes things fizzy?
why do some objects fall faster than others?
how do icicles grow?
can you push an egg into a bottle without touching it?

I think I'll buy this book for him as well.

Sweet! I got a primary grades science book for free and have been flipping through it, it's called "Instant Science for the Primary Grades" pretty "schooly" but we can adapt. I'd like it if dd would pick which activities she wants to do---I just want to facilitate her I dislike being the "teacher".
