Mods: My review will be a running experience of these dipes and company. I hope that's ok. I have not seen these dipes referenced by anyone on this board.

I saw an ad for iCandy dipes by Urban Fluff that looked really appealing so I decided to check it out. First impression: The fabric choices available for the covers ("candy wrapper") are AWESOME! Totally appealing. I decided that I would try 1 dipe with a few extra inserts and will post my progressive comments here.

Placed the order yesterday for 1 candy wrapper, 2 PUL liners and 4 soakers. Received a confirmation at the end of the day that they received my order but that they take 2-4 WEEKS for custom orders to ship.

More as it develops. Not thrilled with the shipping wait time.

I received my order in the mail last Friday (7/16). Yup, 4 weeks! That's a crazy long time for a single diper with a few extra inserts. Custom or not, this had better be one fantastic diaper!

The fabric of the wrapper is a nice print. I got the pink scooters. It has a fleece lining that makes it soft. The overlapping front area is a matching solid pink. The waterproof PUL layers that I ordered are red and white, one each. They have a thin strip of matching fleece around the outside edge. I'm intrigued if it will hold up to their "no leak guarantee."

The inserts do not snap in, they just lay inside the diaper. The Blog reviews that I read said that there was "sag" factor when the dipe was wet. I'll be testing that out. The four microfiber inserts are hourglass shaped with a quilt pattern on one side. The other side has a single solid layer. I'm not sure why they were designed like that...

I will be trying out the diapers this weekend. During the week, we send DD to daycare so I wouldn't have enough feedback.
