Liquid Chlorophyll

My midwife says that I should start taking this this month. I had some in a trade years ago, but can not find it now. I can't buy it anywhere even semi-locally. Does anyone know a good brand? Where can I buy it online?

Would you mind posting more on the reasons for the chlorophyll recommendation?

I know luckyvitamin.com carries liquid and delivery time is pretty decent. Maybe iherb.com might carry it too?

I think to help with blood supply or something? All I know is on my "birth needs" list, it was written to start taking this at 5 months. I took some with #4 just...because I heard it was good.

I've got Nature's Way. You can get it at vitacost.com. Vitacost is my go to place. I started in the first tri to help fight fatigue, it's a blood builder, and it seems to help. I took capsules at the end of my last pg and didn't seem to get as fast of a result.

Can you drink alfalfa tea instead of getting the liquid chlorophyll? I planned on adding alfalfa to my pregnancy tea anyways, so didn't know if I needed this. The budget is tight, so if alfalfa tea is good enough, I'm skipping the extra purchase!

alfalfa tea would work but I would consider powdered spirulina.

we put spirulina in our smoothies and not only is it a source of chlorophyl but also it is super high in iron. We get our 2 month supply for $15.

Ugh, that stuff is nasty...does your midwife dislike you?? I took it during my 4th pregnancy and I could not stand it. They also make chlorophyll capsules which have the same benefits but don't taste like...well...chlorophyll. I got capsules at my health food store. I also took alfalfa capsules but you have to take more (unless it differs by brand) - 2 chl. per day or 8 alfalfa.

I use the brand Chloroxygen and I love it!
