How do you paint on PUL?

I have seen PUL diaper covers that have painted designs on them. How do you do this? Is there a special paint you use on the PUL?

Regular fabric paints should work fine. You can find them at most craft/fabric stores.

can you wash and dry these fabric paints on PUL???

You should be able to. Basic, solid PUL is just polyester knit fabric, so if the paint says it's ok to use on poly, then it should work fine. You usually have to let the paint set for 24 hrs before washing and I'd recommend applying with a brush and using thin layers because thicker parts might flake off with heavy washing. It'd probably be best to paint on covers since they don't have to washed as often as AIO's.

HI SARAH!! Wow!! I have been looking all over for you! I don't think your email server likes me! .. What I would do to paint a design is paint a designs on a cotton woven and then send the cotton woven in to be PUL'D on a DIY PUL run..
