15th weeks and my pubic bone area hurts. Should I be concerned?

I just turned 15 weeks and my pubic bone area hurts. I have 1 years old twins and I carry up and down the stairs a lot. My condo has a kitchen downstairs and a family room upstairs so I would carry them both a lot going downstairs to feed them for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack then back upstairs to the family room where they can play, crawl, walk or etc.

I told my DH about it and we're concerned but I don't know if its a warning for possible miscarriage ( I don't have any spotting or bleeding or cramping) or something serious? What do you think?

Its how my SPD started.

doesnt put me at risk of a miscarriage or anything and with a belt and being careful about how I walk/take stairs and how long I stand, its very manageable.

I started having pubic bone pain around that same time. I've found a lot of relief from going to the chiropractor for adjustment. Seriously, it's the only way I'm able to walk at this point (I'm 37 weeks)

It's definitely not a serious problem as related to the baby. It certainly can cause major disruption to your normal life, though. Definitely, absolutely see a chiropractor experienced with SPD. You can check out http://www.icpa4kids.com/ to find chiros in your area who are certified for prenatal care and/or Webster technique (which is not what you need, but means they work with pregnant women).

Wow! That's interesting. I had a hard time sleeping because it was uncomfortable. I read the link about SPD and it does make perfectly sense. I definitely will look into chiropractor.

Do any of you have hard time sitting in a same position for a while b/c your back or buttock hurts? And when you get up from sitting down for a while do your hips hurt too? It is that way for me.

Also, If I sleep on my left side, my left hip would be sore after an hour or two then I'd end up having to sleep on my back because its the most comfortable position.

I do indeed have trouble staying in one position (not sure if its the SPD or the RLS) but if I sit wrong too long and get up its my pelvis that hurts not my hips. Earlier on in the SPD it would be my crotch and would hurt so bad I felt like I was being quartered by horses. Now it feels like a sledgehammer was taken to the front of my pelvis.

Seeing the chiropractor helped a ton, but it is certainly not a one-time deal. You have to keep going back every time it starts to get bad (its been about a month for me since it got this bad in the first place and I am ready to go in again!)

you can also get a pregnancy support belt... Mine helps a ton. I went one day without it thinking maybe it was all in my head (I have a hard time accepting that I have problems lol) and I was painfully reminded that no... it really does hurt and the belt really does help! It helps to bind my hips together, holding my pelvis still so it doesn't shift around so much.
