Is my crockpot toast?

This is the crockpot I have.

I have had it for several years. Unfortunately, the insert is cracked and needs to be replaced. However, I just looked at Rival's website and it says this model doesn't have replacement parts and to call Customer Service.

Has anyone tried to replace the insert before?

The insert is the crock part, right? I've seen crocks by themselves many times at thrift stores. If you found a crock you think fits, you could take the base into the store to check.
