Yeast, Implantation etc

About a week ago I felt yeasty...just a bit itchy but was fine for ovulation and TTC. In fact I have felt fine for a good week now. BUT today I woke up with itchiness, cottage cheese discharge etc. I'm guessing it's left over yeasties from last week but why all of a sudden? Do I treat with yogurt etc that was suggested last time or should I see my OB/GYN because I may or may not be pregnant? Of course it's Sat so that doesn't help my cause because they aren't open. Am I supposed to not treat it and wait to see someone on Monday? I don't think I can wait that long without going nuts and of course we are going to the beach today! I'm bringing clothes to change into should I get wet.....
Any tidbits?
With my first pregnancy I got a yeast infection right away too but it was after the implantation and after my first appt. I must have been 6 weeks along then when I got the infection.

What is the window for implantation for a 26-27day cycle? Is it always 10days after ovulation or can it be earlier? I suspect I ovulated on the 14th so about 5-6 days ago before onset of yeast symptoms......

THANKS>..

im not sure why are you worried about treating it and implantation? do you mean you dont want to use meds once it may have implanted?

there's no danger to yogurt (or garlic) having to do with implantation- but the sooner you treat it the better chance you have of getting it under control without having to use prescription meds. neither yeast nor yogurt will do anything to harm a pregnancy.

and just for the info- implantation typically starts 4-6 days after ovulation, and completes by 8-10 days.

Thank you karmab.
I was just curious if I should have the yeast infection confirmed by a lab test and if I start treating it naturally than that would affect the lab tests. I prefer to not use prescription drugs or even over the counter Monistat just in case I am pregnant. I haven't had a symptomatic yeast infection since my last pregnancy 6years ago. I just panicked which is why my post was all over the place! Ih ave doubled my pro-biotic intake, and also started sipping apple cider vinegar throughout the day-so far it's manageable.
Thanks for the info on implantation too.....
