pinching

My little one is 4 weeks old and we have had some challenges BF. His latch is good but I still have problems with positioning. Some feedings are awesome and he feeds so well and I don't have to take him off to reposition at all. Some feedings are horrible and I have to take him off repeatedly to get it to feel ok. He gets very frustrated with me and actually grabs my hand when he feels it coming to unlatch him. Is this just me needing more practice? My nipples are still very sore from the early mistakes I made. The beginning is always VERY painful but then it gets better (usually). The usual feeling I get when I know it's not right is a pinching on the bottom (where his lower gum is on my nipple). I pull out his lower lip and sometimes that is the culprit but not always. Any suggestions?
