My DH now must think I am crazy. We are slowly doing some remodeling in our house. In the downstairs bedroom the previous owners put up one wall that is just wood and there is no paint on or behind it. DH just returned from buying supplies to remove this wall. He bought a heavy duty dust mask rated for drywall. This wall is tongue and groove wood so it can be taken apart in whole pieces.
Me: It's not rated for lead? It's not a respirator? Our house is old. What if there is lead paint?
DH: There is NO paint and the contractors who fixed the plumbing(behind this wall) didn't need respirators.
