Wide audience forum?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a special needs parenting forum that has a very large audience? I have a very specific mobility predicament regarding my young adult daughter, and I'm guessing that if I could find the right place to post it I might get the help I need. I went to the Exceptional Parent website, but all they seem to have is a "Search and Respond" section, and I can't even figure out how to use it. Furthermore, I can't even get an email address to ask them because they just list "email" next to their contacts, and when I click on them, it opens up my Mac's email program which I don't use because it costs money! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is your DD's diagnosis? Yahoo has lots of sites/groups. We're on some for HIE and CP and they are VERY helpful for lots of things, including equipment issues.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your original question, but just thought I would address the email issue: using the Mac mail program ("Mail") does not cost money It's supposed to open automatically when you click on an email address/button on a website. Now, if you want an email account through Apple then yes you would need to pay for that, but you can connect Mail to any email address that you already have through any provider.

ETA: Also, you could just grab their email address from the Mail window when it opens, if you really don't want to use Mail itself for some reason. (ie. click on their email button, your Mail window pops up, showing their email address in the "To" field - you could then copy it down). Mail is very straightforward to use though!

My daughter's diagnosis is developmental disabilities and seizure disorder. I'll have to check out Yahoo groups. Good idea!
Regarding my mail- When I click on an email button, my Mail opens up, but it wants to start setting up. when I click to continue setting up (the only option it gives me), I get a message saying "Trying to log into mail server "plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com" failed. This server may require an additional fee for Yahoo POP access". So then I just continue through the prompts, until eventually it gives me a screen to write a new message. But when I go to send, it asks for a password, and none of mine work. AARG!
