Sling and recurrent plugged ducts - Ideas?

I have a two and half year old and a 3 month old which means I wear my baby in a sling all the time, all day long so I can get things done and help protect her from her sweet sister's enthusiastic toddler love. I had a bad bout of mastitis and recurrent plugged ducts that I finally figured out are probably from the sling. I am looking for ideas because until I can get these painful plugged ducts under control the sling is not much of an option (I tried to alternate sides and still keep getting the plugged ducts and I have been taking it slower as well). What other baby wearing options have other people tried that might keep my baby and my breasts happy?. (I have a wrap but my baby doesn't favor it).

Have you tried different positions in the wrap? My DD could. not. stand. any cradle holds and only wanted tummy to tummy holds. At 3 months you could try legs out of the wrap if you haven't yet.

A 2 shouldered carrier that dosen't have any pressure points on you boobs is your friend here. A mei tei would work well. So would a structured soft carrier (ie Beco, Ergo or the like).

How are you wearing the sling? Where is it putting pressure on your boobs and causing the plugged ducts? Not that you're necessarily doing anything wrong, but I didn't have this issue and I'm not being able to picture it.
