Sounds like you know in your heart what needs to be done. It is so sad, but it is not your doing. Hoping that your partner can pull it together, but that will take time and distance. Not giving it time and distance is a sure way for him NOT to pull it together.

I hate alcohol. I drink a little, I'm not a teetotaller, but my goodness, the damage it does. My own little family was a casualty too.
