Tell me your cleaning schedule?

DH and I have recently started using a homemade, Motivated Moms-type cleaning schedule. It's made a huge difference for us!

However, even after 10 years on our own, I'm only starting to really "keep house". So I'm pretty unsure about how often various things should be done and what's important to focus on. Our schedule is a good start, but I was hoping to see some other cleaning schedules to flesh ours out a bit more.

Thanks!

daily: wash dishes, do laundry, light sweeping/dusting, and tidying (also organization).

weekly: bathroom, kitchen, vacuum/dust (deep), linens, garden/outdoor.

monthly: bill paying

seasonal: declutter and deep clean (scrub everything, wash draperies, carpets cleaned, soft furnishings steam cleaned, etc), clean/pack and clean/unpack seasonal clothes

annual: cleaning of ventilation systems (usually best done before during the heater on--so early-mid autumn).

My mom was definitely NOT the best housekeeper, so what I was doing from the time we got married was cleaning the house once per week...like, everything all in one day (dishes, sweeping, etc., as needed). Since getting pregnant, though, I simply don't have the energy for that, plus, it takes a devoted 2 hours or more to get it all done!

So I am using the Motivated Moms schedule. I just started a week ago, and I LOVE it. I don't think I'll use it forever, but at least for the next few years, because I really need someone to tell what needs to be done around the house. The littler things, mostly...like, dusting the light fixtures, cleaning the top of the fridge, wiping down the walls and switchplates, etc. We have moved every 6 months for the past 18 months, so these big things were generally taken care of then, but we'll be here for 4 years, and it's nice to have a schedule!

My favorite part is having it broken down into little things...like, instead of cleaning the entire fridge in one go, you just clean a shelf or area 1 day, and within 2 weeks or so, the whole thing is good to go. For me, right now, I need that regimentation. Eventually, I"d like to be a good enough housekeeper that I can make my own lists!

I do a big clean on Saturdays. I clean the entire kitchen, dust, vacuum, scrub the bathrooms, mop the floors.

During the week, we all help pick up. I wipe down the bathroom every few days while my son is taking a bath. I sweep about every other day after dinner. Dishes get washed after dinner, dishwasher runs when it's full. Other than that, it's just cleaning up messes as they happen and maintaining.

Bigger jobs I do when I notice they need done. Like washing the walls, stuff like that.

I am a little ocd so just to warn you.

Daily, dishes, kitchen, sweeping, toilet, (I have a 3yo boy, enough said lol) vacuum living rm and dining rm, pick up all toys and things in rooms, make beds.

Weekly/biweekly, scrub floors, vacuum bedroom, clean rest of bathroom, bedding on bad weeks lol, laundry/diapers.

Monthly/bimonthly, bedding, dusting, filing bills.

couple times a yr, wash screens, wash fans.

Thats all I can think of right now. When I go to bed at night the house is completely cleaned. It really effects my mood to have it be messy.
