Vulvodynia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulvodynia

Wiki page has been edited under "Possible causes" and "Treatment" sections. I experienced chronic vulvodynia before DH started restoring, but never found any information connecting it with circumcision. I just always thought something was wrong with ME.

Nice!

I keep wondering when people will wake up and figure out, gee, you cut a layer of cushioning off and of course the woman is going to feel more pain.

That will get removed by wiki editors within a few days. 1. You don't have support for the phrase "most likely caused". 2. your link to ************************** will not be accepted as a credible source I think.

I absolutely do believe you are correct that sex with an uncircumcised penis can cause pain for some women but as someone who has vulvodynia I thought I would comment. I have had years of pain-most of those were during times when I was not sexually active.

I believe you should instead insert this under "some possible causes include:"
"sex without the protection of the foreskin (either due to circumcision or condom use)"

"foreskin restoration" is already noted in "treatment and disease management".

I also have vulvodynia and I believe sex would be less painful (but not completely painfree) if DH was not circumcised.

Oops! I intentionally avoid words like "most" and "majority" as a rule, even when I believe they are true. I guess one snuck in despite that. I fixed it.

Personally, I don't see why it wouldn't be a credible source. It's a well-researched evidence based book. There are many less credible sources listed in any number of wiki entries.

I just wish someone had added this a few years ago when I was desperate for information on why I hurt so bad. DS might have stayed intact if I had the seed planted then. But at least I can do my part to plant that seed for someone else.
