5.5 mos old urinating less than usual

DD is about 5 1/2 months old and has always been a heavy wetter. However, the last 2 days she has been urinating noticeably less. She is still going but not nearly as much during the day. Overnight has been the same. She is still eating the same amount (EBF) and bowel movements are the same. She doesn't appear to be in any pain and isn't overly fussy. Should I be worried? She has a well baby appointment on Monday anyway...should I wait until then if this continues?

It might be related to the heat. I think urine output tends to decrease in the summer when you're really hot.

Thanks for the response! Hmm that's what DP thought. It was warm yesterday but we are in BC, Canada and it's not really hot yet.

We ended up calling the 24hr nurses hotline last night about 11pm when I realized she hadn't gone in 8 hours. The nurse said that was too long to go without urinating at her age even though she didn't have any other "symptoms." So we packed up and drove to the children's hospital ER. On the way there she had a huge pooplosion and peed too. So we decided not to go in and turned around and came home. I checked her diaper every 4 hours during the night and she was going normally and has gone frequently today.

who knows?!
