VBA3C vs. 4thRCS- I have decided that I will remain pregnant indefinitely.....

I have spent way too many hours in the last weeks reading about how danegrous it is to have a 4th c/s, and then also about how high my risk is of accreta, previa, etc just because I have had three previous sections and honestly I am freaking out.

So I have decided to keep this baby inside forever. And ever.

Or, not looking at one more single percentage or statistic for this last 7 weeks of my pregnancy. This goal might be easier......

But seriously, I have been so good at staving off the fears for 7/8 months and now I feel them all sneaking back in. Its awful...

Do you have a supportive HCP to take you on for a VBA3C attempt? I am just curious, b/c I couldn't find anyone, and went on to have a 4th c-section.

Anyhow, I wish you the best figuring this out.

That sounds like a good plan hehe

But seriously, I can imagine how with pending birth, the stress is piling up. What do you anticipate whill happen, or what are you choosing?

If it's any encouragement, I follow the blog of an awesome birth photographer, and this was a recent post. I wish there were more pictures.

Yes, but only because I have prior vaginal births and my sections were elective for non-recurring reasons. Without those two things I think I would have been laughed out of the office.

Thanks for that link, they were lovely pictures, well done to her!!.

I am choosing to surrender and see what happens. I am planning for a VBA3C and obviously hoping very much for that, but I have learnt in the past that hoping and planning arent enough. So I just going to relax now and let what happens, happen. And not freak out about my X% likelihood of this or my X% likelihood of that.
