Has anyone else's child managed to go diaper free at night before mastering diaper free days? DD will just NOT go on the potty during the day, but she's been waking up to pee for a couple weeks now, and I've been leaving her diaper free all night for about a week. I do leave her diaper free as much as possible during the day, but she just pees on the floor. And if I try to put her on the potty, she stands up and pees on the floor next to it. It's so frustrating because when she pees on the floor, she'll go get a cloth to clean it up herself! So I know she gets the concept. Any suggestions?

Diaper Free Night time?

My little one does diaper free nights(14 mo). Sometimes we catch during the day and sometimes we get the pee on the floor. DD always grabs a towel to wipe up the pee because that's what I do. Try to reframe your thinking that your child is trying to help clean up, otherwise you could harbor frustration and resentment.
Have you tried reading some fun books in the bathroom? Going at the same time (you and your DD)?
I bet there will be other helpful suggestions too
