Help! WTH is going on?

So I've been doing OPK's a couple times a day CD 9-12 (today) they have all been negative. In fact, this evening's tests seem to be fainter. I usually ovulate around CD 14 or 15. And usually my LH surge is long, like 2-3 days of + OPK's.

But I was just checking my cm internally and I got egg white with a spot/streak of blood. I thought blood meant the egg had actually released from the ovary? I did bd last night, but I've never gotten blood from that.

Did i miss my surge somehow even though it usually lasts a long time? Am I mistaken about the reason for ovulatory spotting?

My plan was to skip tonight with bd'ing and try tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday with the assumption I would o on Monday, CD 14. I need to decide soon if I have the chance of getting dh in the mood tonight!

blood doesn't mean ovulation. It could be from anything, including you checking your cervix and it being irritated or from BDing (can happen even if it hasn't before). It is possible to miss an LH surge on an OPK too so i would BD at the first sign of any EWCM and use OPKs as back up. good luck!

yeah that!

ETA- the EWCM could have been 'leftover' from HIS contribution yesterday. id just keep checking if all the signs dont add up.

Well, my OPK looks darker, and I'll take another this afternoon. My temp is still down, so I'm pretty sure I didn't o. I still have a little bit of pink tinge to the ewcm. I did the test to make sure it is ew and not semen (it stretches, not breaks and balls up in water.)

I think you're still waiting to O. I sometimes have my OPKs suddenly get dark, rather than steadily darken. I would guess your O is still going to arrive at the regular time.

Think Reproductive Thoughts!
