Tips? Transition stroller napper to bed napper

Thinking I should transition my 21 month to napping in bed. Stroller has worked like a charm -I get a run and she goes to sleep. Plus the babysitter, hubby and nana could also get her down for a nap no problem. But I'm starting work in the fall and w/ weather etc. Think maybe she should nap laying down. How to do this w/ out nursing? Though even nursing she won't go down for a nap just nighttime.

Any tips?

If you have room can you rock her to sleep in the stroller inside your house with some music on? I used to do this with my DD (when she was much younger) and then somehow we transitioned to walking her to sleep in the stroller outside, which is what we do now. I expect you might meet with some protest! I used to put a blanket over the pushchair as well to make it dark and give her something to play with in the hope that sleep would overtake her gently, rather than it being a battle.

Living in a condo- I would actually walk her in the stroller in our large attic when weather was foul. Moving to a house- not sure how that would go. Plus as she gets older she notices the scenery is not changing.

May try the blanket idea.
