I think I'm ready to call DD a grad!
She's 27.5 months, EC'd pretty much from birth. She was dry all day from 12 months on, but we had an independence pause when she turned two that she seems to be done with now. And now for several days she's been taking HERSELF potty--not asking to go or signaling, but just going all by herself. !!! This, by the way, is the kid who barely signaled EVER and who I took almost exclusively based on timing for most of her life.
Hope this helps some discouraged mamas!
The weirdest part is that I can honestly say that I feel pretty ambivalent about it. I'm happy...but at the same time I'm kind of nostalgic for the days when she needed so much more help with pottying. And I'm bummed I'm not getting more use out of the adorable trainers I just bought for this latest pause.
Eh, there could be potty pauses in our future still!
But I really think she's done...
