fever vs. high post o bbt

This might sound kind of silly, but is there a way to tell the difference between a fever and high post o temps?

I'm maybe 2 dpo. Have been sick since Friday. No fever the last two days, but this am my temp was 99.56.... I don't feel feverish, but is that temp too high for any other explaination?

Don't know if it matters, but I temp vaginal. My oral temp was a bit lower....99.1ish

Scared maybe I didn't o afterall. Supposed to start progest. Hm.
Eta how much should I worry abt potential fever at 2 dpo? That's bad, right?

99 isn't a fever

however it could be caused by being sick.

don't worry about temp until it rises above 102. otherwise, make a note that you were sick so you know why you have the odd temp(s) if they go down after you get better.
