OPK woes *anyone waiting to catch the first PPAF using OPKs?

Darn......anyone using opks and still waiting on first PPAF?

My hopes began to rise about wednesday when my OPK lines all of a sudden went from nothing to a faint line that darkened each day. I was cramping, taking vitex and things looked great......until.......yesterday when the line disappeared again.

The line was actually about half way there. Maybe even a little more. Why didn't I get a better surge? You know what. I think if I am watching this everyday I will probably get a half way line every month around the same time when my uterus tries and then just putters out.

Anyone been testing with OPKs for over a month waiting to catch the first egg? Does ur surge change or stay the same?

I get lines that are up to 60% as dark as the control, and then they fade away. It can happen multiple times in one cycle. LH can be weird like that, especially if you're nursing. I started using a saliva microscope this cycle so I don't have to blow 40+ opks and drive myself nuts analyzing lines (32-68 day cycles), and it has helped.
