What summer garden toys etc do you have for your child/ren?

And how old are your children?/child?

My dd is 7 years old. In the garden we have:

a trampoline,
swimming pool (which isn't up yet until the weather gets warmer),
garden bowling set,
soccer ball,
tennis ball on a string attatched to a pole, with 2 bats game,
kids mini greenhouse with flowers in pots for her to water and watch grow,
scooter
one of those balls with the two catching sticky pieces for throw and catch

I think that's all we have, I need some more ideas! What do you have in yours?

(she also has a bike but unless your yard is huge you can't really ride it in there...not a 7 year olds bike anyway, a toddler bike would be okay on the paved areas.)

My kids (7 and 5) like to dig holes in the garden, make huts from bamboo lengths/a bedsheet/clothespegs, sandpit with access to water and a variety of sandpit toys including the plastic toy kitchen from in the house, a plank of wood over a central piece of wood (to do balancing stuff on - like a little see-saw), a length of rope can be used for all sorts, trampoline.

Our yard isn't very big

We have:
Sand/water table that gets TONS of use [multiple times a day, every day whenever it's warm out..] and of course a ton of sand toys to accompany that.

Sprinkler/small pool - I got both for under $10 and they are fine. We both run through the sprinkler together, and the pool gets filled up/splashed in when it's super hot out.

Garden - We explore, eat our produce, weed together etc. DD loves to look for bugs, and we have found many creatures since we started!

We have a dump truck, a wheelbarrow, a rake, several shovels, watering cans, spray bottles, some kid size chairs, a bike, and a wagon.

My children are 3.5 and nearly 6

We have a basket of smaller toys
balls, bat, skipping rope, beanbags, egg and spoon race set, stomp rocket and hula hoops.

We have a small inflatable pool but only get it out occasionally.

They also have a climbing frame with a slide. It lends itself well to making dens with an old sheet.

They will spend quite a lot of time amusing themselves if they are both there but neither of them will play much on their own outside.

For my 18 month old DS and 5 year old DD:
*sandbox w/ lots of shovels and buckets and sandtoys
*large cedar playhouse (gift from the grandparents, gets lots of use)
*picnic basket with plates and play food
*child-size garden tools (they both help me garden, although DS still needs a close eye - he pulled up my parsley while helping me weed)
*little seedling greenhouse for DD
*frisbees
*balls, golf club, bat

ETA: Forgot to mention riding toys - inch worm, cozy coupe car, tricycle and bicycle.

for summer play, we have:

small slide
sandbox with assorted toys (and an umbrella over it to make up for our lack of shade)
playhouse
cozy coupe car
tricycle
basketball net/ball
tee ball set
bike
water/sand toy (just a cheapie but they like it)
easel and sidewalk chalk
bubbles
trucks
baby pool (not set up right now but will be one of these days)
kids' picnic table
soccer ball and other balls
baseball glove and bat
skipping rope

and tomorrow my husband is picking this up from a family we know (but a different colour):http://www.kidsplaygroundset.com/wp-...playground.jpg (there's a tunnel in there! so cool)

there's the town splash pad (free) down the street and playground as well.

Watering can with garden tools.
A game thingy that I can't remember the name of (I'll edit this when I remember).
Balls
Lightweight bat and whiffle balls.
Bike
Scooter
Silk streamers

I've been searching for squirt toys that are not gun shaped and don't shoot up to 20'.
We don't have access to the outdoor faucet but I'm going to ask again. I'd at least like to be able to use a sprinkler or fill a wading pool.

My kids are 8 and 11,and I borrowed 2 for the summer that are 12 and 14. We have a trampoline,15 foot intex pool, bikes, hoops, fire pit, large tent, and lots of edibles for them to pick at throughout the yard.

I have gardens but no one is interested in them.Oh I dug a pond too,so frogs, toads, and dragon flies are searched for.

We have lots of squirt guns and marshmallow guns, and various balls, nets, rackets, and so on.

The pool and trampoline are favorites.Kids like fires, but I don't do those very often.

Dogs, cats, and chickens to play with or care for.Oh a rabbit too,but she is mean.

Totally off topic, but this made me laugh, because I pictured the killer bunny in Monty Python.
