This is a really beautiful story. I like the way you described it from top to bottom with denial and everything.

I TOTALLY KWYM about being glad you were at home, having your MW pink up your baby again... vs. being at the hospital where he would have been whisked away and it treated as an emergency. TOTALLY get that.

So glad to hear this experience was so powerful for you in a positive way. Yep, labour and birth have their own plan, and it unfolds as it wants to, not as we expect. Great job Mama, enjoy your beautiful family.
