)You can find used curriculum on Homeschool Forum (http://homeschoolforum.org). They have a board where people are selling Waldorf, Classical, Charlotte Mason...everything. Just an FYI.
Curriculum makes your homeschooling more systemic. You can check out beestar. Maybe it helps you. We have been using it for homeschooling. It combines all the syllabus from P1 to P8... The honor roll, ranking, award programs are effective. My daughter loves and supports it. I think it is nice and easy to use.

ass others said, manuals and books are of course reusable... besides what others mentioned many people will use plastic sheets or separate pieces of paper making workbooks reusable. Any manipulative's (such as pattern blocks , rods, sandpaper letters etc... ) are all reusable.Â
Â
I would have to say about 90% of my homeschool materials were all bought or given to me used.Â
Â
there are several websites for selling homeschool materials, amazon frequently has good deals, getting friendly with other local HSers will sometimes let stuff fall into your lap, thrift stores, garage sales, and sometimes the dump all provide fantastic stuff once you train your eye and know what to look for.
