2 1/2 yr old DD - potty learning question

My DD is 2yrs 8mo and we are right in the throes of potty learning after almost a year of on and off success (new baby in January put a bit of a pause on it!). This past week she's done great and is in pull ups all day.

She always stays dry all afternoon, always goes pee (and often poop) in the morning, but has had one "accident" a day for the past 4 days right after breakfast. Same time every day but I can't really see any other patterns. We just tell her it's ok, let's try to go on the potty next time.

I'm going to start paying closer attention and maybe I'll see a pattern. Or, more likely, it will just pass!

Just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience or had any ideas.

Thanks!

when my dd was first getting the hang of the potty, the one time of day she was mostly likely to have an accident was during the end of supper. We solved this issue by adding a potty break to her getting-ready-to-eat routine. Even now, her meal routine includes a quick stop on the potty to see if she needs to go before washing her hands and coming to the table. Honestly, I find that I am more relaxed at a meal if I take a bathroom break first, too . It had just become part of the routine.
