Dr. Kendra Becker?

I keep hearing good things about Dr. Kendra Becker in Mystic, CT. I'm definitely looking to switch pediatricians for my daughter and I'm really interested in seeing her. Does anyone have any experiences or information to share? Does she regularly accept new patients? How long did you have to wait for an appointment? Does she take any insurance? (This is a big one haha, we just bought a house so money is not abundant...)

I saw somewhere online that she has an office in Norwich as well... is this true? I could only find one mention of it and nothing on her website. I would certainly drive to Mystic if we click with her but we live in Norwich so it would be super convenient if she did.

Thank you in advance for any replies!

I'm not sure if she still has an office in Norwich or not. She is our ped and we adore her. We have never had any trouble getting an appointment or getting ahold of her. She is very good at what she does...I really can't say enough good things about her. We have TriCare and she accepts it. I'm pretty sure she accepts several other insurance plans.

She accepts several types of insurance. And like J says above, I have never had a wait getting in to see her. She is wonderful.

I don't know if you're still around since this was posted quite some time ago, but we have TriCare also and I'm trying to figure out if Dr. Kendra is considered in network or not. I can't find her in the TriCare provider directory, but she did say that she accepts TriCare and *thought* she was in-network. It's the difference between paying 15% or 20% of charges as far as I understand since we are on Standard. What have your costs been like, if you don't mind my asking? My husband is lower enlisted so we are not exactly rolling in dough. redface.gif

Also do you know anything about Dr. Frank, the chiropractor in the practice? I was not happy with my last chiro who really didn't seem to have it together, was really anemic on the patient education, and wasn't very effective at treating the problem. I'm looking for someone who has a solid diagnostic toolbox, develops a concrete treatment plan, has a strong emphasis on patient education, is experienced and effective at treating neck problems, and all around doesn't swindle me out of money since we have to pay for chiropractic care out of pocket.

Thanks in advance for any info you might have!
