Any thoughts on these at all? Have you taken them? Any of you MW's out there love/dislike any? I'm 38 1/2 weeks and these are what I'm taking per MW.

Evening Primrose Oil
Probiotics
Alfalfa
Dandelion Root
Prenatal Multi
Preg Tea - red raspberry, nettles, dandelion
Magnesium
Cod Liver Oil

Homeopathics: cimicifuga, caulophyllum, aconitum

Would love to hear your thoughts!

EPO will help soften your cervix.
Probiotics will help maintain healthy intestinal (and vaginal?) flora.
Alfalfa and dandelion root I haven't used but are commonly recommended for their nutrients.
Prenatal multi is standard with most care providers.
Pregnancy tea is good for the nutrients and the red raspberry leaf helps tone your uterus.
Magnesium can't be beat for a large number of benefits - cardiovascular, sleep, tons of stuff.
Cod liver oil is high in EFAs which are very important for both you and baby.

I believe the first two homeopathics are used for non-pharmaceutical induction. Are you already contracting or showing signs of being ready for labor? They won't likely hurt, but I wouldn't think of taking them at 38.5 weeks. Aconite is used for a variety of issues, mostly dealing with fear or fright. Homeopathics are considered very safe in pregnancy, but at least the first two of those are believed to work on the uterus, so I'm a little surprised to see them so early.

If you have questions about your MW's recommendations, absolutely ask her and learn all you can so you can make an informed choice.
