My sweet little Lyla Elizabeth is here!!!

Saturday, June 19th at 10:31pm (sooo close to fathers day) she weighs 7 lbs 13 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long.

I woke with contractions at 4am on Saturday and they got worse throughout the day. We headed to the hospital when they were 2-4 min apart around 8:30pm, got there, got to labor in a tub for 1 1/2 hours until I felt I needed to get out, crawled up on the bed and had her (on all 4's) 5 min after I got out. Only a small tear with 2 stitches. My mom, my husband, my doula and midwife were there and it was absolutely the most perfect birth ever! My milk came in yesterday (on day 2!) and she's nursing like a champ! My kids are head over heels in love with her and we (my husband and I) couldn't be happier!
