DS is 8 months old. I just started looking back into EC because he just started solids and I know when he's going to poop already. I figured there must be a better way then stinky diapers and an upset baby. I got the book Diaper free : the gentle wisdom of natural infant hygiene from the library. The first day I caught two poops 
and missed two. the second day (TODAY) I caught 5 pees missed two and its only 4pm! 
He really gets the idea already. it was so cool watching him controlling the pee stream and getting proud of himself. He does try to go when I bring him there. I don't know of he's requesting yet, or if he was always fussy before he went. I'm loving this!
