I was in a very similar place when I had my twins. We had just set a date to get married when I suddenly started having odd symptoms like puking and sore boobs. It was my husband who first suggested I might be pregnant. I was in complete denial.
I was pretty petrified with #1 but now her dad and I are married, I've graduated college and we're on #3. Sure things are perfect now but things tend to work themselves out.
Thank you everyone! It feels right (I believe that everything happens for a reason), but just the shock of it...wow.
LSUtwinmama, I had a weird thing happen on Saturday. My SO brought me a pulled pork sandwich (just sounded really good), but when I got it, my stomach just started rolling...and then I starting thinking that it'd been about 5 weeks since my last period, and I never go over like that, so I tested and yeah...
I'm kind of in the same boat. This one was a little unexpected. I'm not married either, we were thinking of getting married next May but I'll have a little one and I'm not sure I want to take on the stress of planning a wedding. I'm in school right now getting my ECE and I was supposed to start working as a preschool teacher the same month the baby is due. Guess I won't be doing that. It's a little daunting when things aren't all in place but I'm trusting that it will all work out in the end and everyone will be happy.
Chiming in to say...Congratulations! Everything will work out the way it is meant to be. My now husband and I were not married, still both finishing up college, and living in a dorm (not together, with roommates) when we got pregnant with our DD! Now we're married with a home and both college graduates. You are so right when you say everything happens for a reason!!! Much love to you and yours, Narmowen.
