When did y'all get your toddler a pillow of their own?

Do they make "toddler pillows?" Or just give them a regular one?

We don't cosleep, obvs. Thanks.

We actually got a toddler pillow as a gift when my DD was born. It's a much smaller pillow, and also a lot flatter- not fluffy like an adult pillow.

She uses it now at 22 months, but I put it in her bed as soon as she was out of the crib (18 months). It's cute but personally I don't think they're necessary. She mostly ends up using it as a "doll bed," when she plays.

I did not get my son a pillow until he was about 18 months. I just bought a firm adult-sized pillow at Target.

I first gave my daughter a toddler pillow my mom made when she 13 months or so. She hated it and always grabbed my pillow. She sleeps in a toddler bed now with her own normal sized pillow.

We bought DD a standard-sized Naturepedic pillow when she was around 18 months old. She absolutely loves her pillow.
