He's here! (now with pics)

After taking his sweet time cooking (41wks 5 days) Oscar Henry was born at 12:23am after a very fast, intense 4hour active labor. My growth check ultrasound 12 days ago estimated he was 8lb13oz.

Oscar Henry
7lb 9oz 19.5 inches long, 14.5 inch head.

Glad he's here! Fast labor, what is UP with this DDC?! And girl, that is a big head. I look forward to hearing more of the birth story, but for now, recover well!

Congratulations, and welcome to Oscar! Our labor was fast, too...I don't know what it's like to have a slow labor, but at least I got through it quickly! Glad things went well!
