I have dealt with biting before, and likely will again, but DS is now doing something I don't know how to deal with.
He's nursing fine (and I'm keeping my finger right near him so I can unlatch him quickly) and then he bites down HARD and SCRAPES himself off the nipple, drawing blood and pulling the nipple out about 4 inches.
I scream.
I know he's working on molars. I've been giving him teething tablets and some OTC when it gets really bad, but there's only so much I can take.
Other than trying to unlatch him when he's done (which believe me, I have been doing) does anyone have any ideas? It's the SCRAAAAPPING and PULLLING that's really painful.
He doesn't do this at night BTW.
