Looking for good books/info on baby nutrition w/recipes

I plan to start feeding my baby solids in a couple months and I'm wondering if there are any good books out there. I'm especially curious if there are any that deviate from the typical "rice cereal for their first food" idea. I don't know if it's right or wrong, but I just like to question it.

Thanks!

The website wholesomebabyfood.com is a great resource!

We did Child Led Weaning.... just chunks of soft food she could feed herself, starting at about 9 months. I have also heard good things about the 'Super Baby Foods' cookbook.

Lots of moms know more than I do, but I know that I would never feed my baby rice cereal as a first food (actually never....)

There is so much good info all over these forums on what to feed and when, but the most important thing for any baby under 1 is mama's milk!

Good luck.
