Slowest Flow Bottle

Thread Starter
I've tried four bottles for my eight week old. She chokes on them all when breast milk is in the bottle. She can drink from them fairly well when formula is in there, I guess formula is thicker.

I need a bottle with a really slow flow. So far, I've tried Playtex, Dr. Brown, Advent, and adiri. What is the slowest flow bottle out there?

So far, the slowest one we've found is the Dr Brown's preemie nipples. Though, they may run slower for us than other people since we don't use vented bottles.

i love the breastflow. when we started with them, dd actually got mad because the milk came out so slowly. the lo's have to compress and suckle at the same time, similar to breastfeeding. we still use them and are happy.

We used the Dr Browns slow flow preemie nipples with our preemie, they worked well. We ordered them on Amazon.

I like the breast flow; but the slowest flow, standard neck (fits on a medela/ameada pump), wide-base nipple I've found are the evenflo purely comfi. (finger tighten)

eta, for a small baby I would def try the breastflow.
